Buzzards Bay Project Featured in WBUR, Boston’s NPR News Station 

The Buzzards Bay project aims to study the transition from traditional “grab sample” water quality monitoring to continuous, sensor-based monitoring in Buzzards Bay, Massachusetts. The Data Core team has been responsible for creating an effective way to manage all of the data being collected and ultimately support a successful transition.

 

In their recent news article titled “New water quality technology makes its debut in Buzzards Bay, WBUR discusses the new water quality technology and the dozens of volunteers that have been essential to monitoring the health of the bay.

 

The passionate volunteers will continue to monitor water, and in the future this new technology will augment that process, further supporting scientists ability to study water quality.
