Description: The goal of this partnership is to use a computer-vision algorithm to automatically detect whether or not a photograph contains an animal for The Nature Conservancy to use with trail-cam footage. This application is designed to make machine-learning powered image recognition available to non-technical users. It can be used with photographs captured by remote motion-sensitive cameras placed in the wild to monitor wildlife corridors and better guard against animal-vehicle collisions on roadways.
