The International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA) Transcription project is a collaborative effort between the UMass Amherst College of Humanities and Fine Arts’s Linguistics Department and the Manning College of Information and Computer Sciences to create an AI-assisted analysis of phonological variation in English.
